Incentives
The Federation Board met May 21, 2009 and approved the following incentives for NARFE recruitment. The incentives from last year have been extended and new ones underlined and in bold print have been added.
Incentives Effective June 1, 2009 to April 30, 2010
1. Incentive for recruiting Active Federal Employees (AFE):
(a) Each Active Federal Employee who is recruited by a chapter in the Oklahoma Federation, and pays the current application fee, from June 1, 2009 through April 30, 2010, will receive a $10 award from the Oklahoma Federation.
(b) Each chapter recruiting an Active Federal Employee will receive a $10.00 award. (chapter benefit)
To implement this incentive, Chapter Presidents will send copies of their M-112 each month showing the AFE's who qualify for the award to Robert Oltmanns, Federation Treasurer, 14901 N. Penn Ave. Apt. 169, Oklahoma City, OK 73134-6073
2. Incentives for using Dues Withholding:
(a). Each retired Federal Employee who joins a NARFE chapter in the Oklahoma Federation from June 1, 2009 to April 30,2010, and who uses dues withholding to pay his/her National and Chapter dues, will receive a $20 incentive award from the Oklahoma Federation.
(b). Existing chapter members who switch to dues withholding during the period from June 1, 2009 to April 30, 2010 will receive a $20 incentive award from the Oklahoma Federation.
To implement these incentives, Chapter Presidents will send the Form DW-3 (Green Card) or Form DW-2 (White Card) or a copy of their M112 to Robert Oltmanns, Federation Treasurer.
3. Incentive for Spousal Recruitment:
An existing chapter member’s spouse who joins NARFE will receive a $10 award.
To implement this incentive, chapter presidents will send a copy of their M112 to Robert Oltmanns, Federation Treasurer
4. Incentive for Reinstatements: (-chapter benefit)
Each chapter in the Oklahoma Federation who reinstates a dropped member from June 1, 2009 to April 30, 2010 will receive a $10 incentive award for each member who has been restored to NARFE membership. This includes LSA and Life members who start paying their chapter dues again.
To implement this incentive, each quarter the Chapter Presidents will send copies of their M112’s showing the reinstated members, to Robert Oltmanns, Federation Treasurer.
